Arch Wood and Glass Mosaic

This piece was a little bit of an experiment.  I've always loved glass mosaics, and as I built this piece, the middle spot needed something special.  I added the glass, and when I held it up, it reminded me of an old church window.  I knew it would be perfect for this collection.  

Measurements: Approx. 17.5"x14

Materials: Cedar wood, glass and mortar

Completely hand made from start to finish. Reclaimed wood is cut into strips and cut down to create backer design.
